CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PLAYERS
A PLAYER SHOULD REMEMBER THEIR OBLIGATION TO THE GAME
- Make every effort to develop their skill, techniques, tactics, and stamina
- Always strive to give the best possible performance during a game, whatever the scoreline
- Avoid all forms of gamesmanship, and never use bad or inappropriate language
A PLAYER SHOULD REMEMBER THEIR OBLIGATION TO THEIR TEAM
- Be available for training and matches and attend punctually and appropriately dressed
- Resist anything that might hinder your efforts to help your team win
A PLAYER SHOULD HAVE RESPECT FOR THE LAWS OF THE GAME AND COMPETITION RULES
- Know the rules and keep to them
- Accept winning, drawing and losing in equal measure
A PLAYER SHOULD SHOW RESPECT TOWARDS OPPONENTS
- Treat opponents with respect at all times irrespective of the result
- Safeguard the physical fitness of opponents by avoiding violence, and help injured opponents
A PLAYER SHOULD SHOW RESPECT TO MATCH OFFICIALS
- Accept all decisions without protest
- Avoid words or actions that could be interpreted as dissent
A PLAYER SHOULD RESPECT THE TEAM OFFICIALS
- Follow the instructions of your Coach providing they are in the spirit of this Code
- Show due respect to the team officials of the opposition
