Long Service Presentation to John Mason & Neville Porter
from Tadburn Youth FC
A Presentation was held last night at Romsey’s Comrades Club to show appreciation to two of Tadburn’s long serving Managers.
John Mason, who recently hung up his Managers boots with the current under 15’s team, started with that team when they were under 9’s. Ironically, he took over from Neville Porter who had managed them from the beginning.
Neville dropped down an age group and recently finished managing one of the under 14 teams.
Both have had their share of success in different ways and continue to be involved with the club, albeit with different hats on. John is still involved with refereeing whilst Neville is a keen supporter of various age groups.
Parents, players and current managers were there to see John and Neville receive engraved glass tankards from Club Chairman, Dave Harrison.
