TADBURN 6-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT 2008
We would like to invite you to participate in the 24th running of our Annual 6-A-Side Tournament. The event will again be held at Mountbatten School, Romsey covering age groups 7’s to 15’s (2007/2008 Season). Please see the attached time schedule for each age group.
The tournament will be played on a league basis with 4 leagues of 4 teams each with the top two teams going through to a Main Cup competition and the remaining teams into a Subsidiary Cup competition. The Under 7 category is a non-competitive event and trophies will be awarded to members of both the winning and losing finalists in each Cup competition. We also intend to invite Under 15’s but on a 5-A-Side basis due to the pitch size available. Should you wish to invite 8 players, this will be acceptable. This year we have decided to create more of a family event, rather than just the football, which will hopefully help pass the day for some of the younger children. We have therefore invited Team Elite who will run a skills challenge, and penalty shoot out. There will also be a professionally run Bouncy Castle.
If you would like to attend, please complete the attached form and return it to the address shown on the form, together with a cheque for the correct remittance no later than the 2nd May 2008. Correctly completed applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
All participating Clubs must be affiliated to the Hampshire Youth Football Association. Under 7 and Under 8 players must have been eligible to play small-sided football under Hampshire Youth FA Rules during the 2007/2008 season, to meet the minimum age requirement.

Successful applications will receive a written acknowledgement by the end of May 2008 at latest, together with :

oTeam registration forms (Note 8 players only allowed), which will need to be completed and handed in when registering on the day.
